The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) First Aid Responder (FAR)training is a very popular course which incorporates Cardiac First response (CFR) & Automated External Defibrillator (AED). The Health & Safety Authority (HSA) now recognises the PHECC First Aid Response (FAR) training course. The PHECC First Aid Responder course is a 3-day course which includes on-going assessment and written exam. In addition to learning about life threatening injuries the training also includes patient assessment and infection control. This course is registered with the PHECC and successful candidates receive both a Certificate and a PHECC Card.
